Metal-free zirconia copings and crowns for teeth
Dental crowns or copings of Zirconia are the most innovative in aesthetic dentistry since they offer a life-like appearance similar to the one of the natural teeth.
What is Zirconia?
The zirconium oxide (zirconia) is the most advanced material used in metal-free fixed prosthetics dentures, of an extraordinary durability and resistance. This material is considered to be chosen for prosthetic treatments and dental rehabilitation.
The aesthetics of the lab-made ceramic finish on top of the zirconia attains perfection since by contrast with the traditional metal dentures, the light doesn’t face any barriers and is reflected in a completely natural way, which allows the patient obtain white and radiant teeth.
Porcelain dental veneers
Porcelain veneers allow us to change the color and the shape of teeth barely touching them. There is no need to shorten or file down the tooth (something necessary in case of a dental crown) since the veneers are placed over the front part of the tooth.
The veneers we use are very thin, measuring between 0,3 and 1 mm thick, thus they are adhered to the enamel. With the resin cement there is no need to sacrifice or intervene in the tooth tissues to shorten or mold the tooth. Thus the structure of the tooth remains intact and there is no need for anesthesia.
In case of stained or dark teeth, dental imperfections (such as short or worn-down teeth) and in order to close the spaces or gaps between teeth, the dental veneers are the best option.
